I am a candid photographer capturing natural, unposed authentic moments , without staging, posing, forced smiles and saying cheese. I will show you a variety of photo poses and then you can put your spin on it.

The goal is to document raw emotions and expressions as life unfolds, resulting in images that are authentic.

I do posed newborn sessions, young children and pet photography. I have some newborn and maternity clothing and props.

Have fun with one another forget about telling your kids to behave themselves and stay still for the camera. Sometimes it is all right to embrace the chaos and crazy with them so I can capture moments that you will cherish for a lifetime. I was the director of a Montessori school for 17 years and I know how to interact with children and get that amazing shot.

The possibilities are endless in this area – there is so much to explore around Lake Michigan with and all the parks. If you have some ideas but want to talk more about a specific location – I am more than happy to talk to you and make some suggestions!

In home sessions are great because it is a place where everyone is more relaxed and comfortable.

When I arrive at your home, I will do a quick walk through to find places that have natural light like a bedroom or family room. Do not feel like you must have a super clean house, but it is helpful if you can do a bit of de-cluttering

The ultimate goal is that you FEEL amazing in whatever you wear, which means you also need to be comfortable.

Some tips:

Neutrals are timeless!

DON’T wear shirts with big graphics / logos, / lettering - and don’t mix different patterns and colors that clash. Try to avoid blacks and dark colors for maternity photos because it will hide your beautiful baby bump.

If you are feeling completely uninspired by your current wardrobe, take a look at Pinterest and find a board that focuses on what to wear on a photoshoot.

Within 3-4 days I will share a couple of photos from your session as a sneak peek – and within the week I will send you watermarked images from your session and from there you can either select the included images you wish to receive as part of your original package and add any additional photos. I always strive to deliver images within 2-3 weeks.
They will be emailed to you with the name: WE transfer and then Sudden Moments Photography.

You sure can! I give you a print release so you can print as many pictures as you’d like.

No, copyrights are not for sale. The copyright essentially means that since I took the photo, I own it and no one can alter my image or claim artistic ownership. Although I own the image, I still grant printing rights so you can print wherever you want.
